Kaylea Eves – Pre-School Manager
Kaylea joined Jack and Jill in Jan 2018. Kaylea took over the role of manager in December 2022 and is level 3 qualified. She has over 10 years experience in Early Years and safeguarding lead trained.
Fun Fact: I love singing and dancing and spending time with my family.
Nicola Leech – Senco and Acting Deputy Manager
Nicola joined Jack and Jill in May 2018. Nicola has a BA Hons degree in teaching and has lots of experience working with a variety of aged children from early years to primary school. Nicola has just taken over the role of senco alongside her post graduate senco course and is already achieving great outcomes for children with additional needs. Nicola is also paediatric first aid trained, safeguarding and makaton sign language trained.
Nicola is also currently our Deputy Pre-School manager whilst Emily is on maternity leave.
Fun Fact: Nicola loves to dress up and role play with the children.
Emily Horobin –Deputy Manager
Emily joined Jack and Jill In Oct 2017 and was promoted to deputy manager in June 2018. Emily is a qualified level 3 practitioner and has 10 years experience working in early years. Emily is also safeguarding lead trained and has paediatric first aid.
Emily is currently on maternity leave.
Fun Fact: Loves the spice girls baby spice is her fave!
Hayley Evans – Pre-School Assistant
Hayley joined Jack and Jill over 30 years ago and has helped shape it into the great provision it is today. Hayley is level 3 qualified in early years and level 3 Senco. She has great experience and knowledge about all aspects of a child’s needs and is also safeguarding and paediatric first aid trained.
Fun Fact: Hayley is a huge Everton supporter and travels around the world watch them play.
Emma Jelves – Assistant
Emma joined Jack and Jill over 16 years ago and is level 2 qualified. Emma was part of the committee at Jack and Jill whilst her own children attended before working here. Emma is safeguarding and paediatric first aid trained.
Fun Fact: Emma love to watch Warrington Wolves and enjoys walking her dogs.
Holly Byrne – Assistant
Holly joined the team at Jack and Jill as a staff member in June 2018 after being a student with us for 2 years. During this time she has built great partnerships with staff and parents and completed her level 3 qualification. Holly is also safeguarding and paediatric first aid trained.
Fun Fact: I’m always cold!

Robert – Volunteer
Robert has volunteered at Jack and Jill Pre-School one day a week for nearly 10 years and the children love getting Robert to play new games with them.
Fun Fact: Robert is an expert in anything Marvel and Superheros!
