Kaylea Eves – Pre-School Manager
Kaylea joined Jack and Jill in Jan 2018. Kaylea was promoted to manager in December 2022. Kaylea and Emily now have a joint management role and work as a ‘management team’. Kaylea has over 5 years experience working in a senior or management role. She also has over 10 years experience in Early Years and is safeguarding lead trained and paediatric first aid trained.
Emily Horobin – Pre-School Manager
Emily joined Jack and Jill In Oct 2017 and was promoted to deputy manager in June 2018. Emily now has a joint management position at Jack and Jill. Emily is a qualified level 3 practitioner and has over 10 years experience working in early years and over 7 years experience working in a management position. Emily is also safeguarding lead trained and has paediatric first aid.
Holly Byrne – SENCO
Holly joined the team at Jack and Jill as a staff member in June 2018 after being a student with us for 2 years. During this time she has built great partnerships with staff and parents and completed her level 3 qualification. Holly has her Level 3 SENCO Qualification and took over the role as SENCO in May 2023, after covering the deputy manager role for maternity cover. Holly is also Safeguarding Lead trained and paediatric first aid trained.
Hayley Evans – Pre-School Assistant
Hayley joined Jack and Jill over 30 years ago and has helped shape it into the great provision it is today. Hayley is level 3 qualified in early years and level 3 SENCO. She has great experience and knowledge about all aspects of a child’s needs and is also safeguarding and paediatric first aid trained.
Emma Jelves – Pre-School Assistant
Emma joined Jack and Jill over 16 years ago and is level 2 qualified. Emma was part of the committee at Jack and Jill whilst her own children attended before working here. Emma is safeguarding and paediatric first aid trained.
Amy Bennett – Pre-School Assistant
Amy started with us in February 2022. Amy has a BA HONS in Childhood and Youth and Early Childhood and has recently completed her Level 3 qualification. Amy is paediatric first aid trained and has received safeguarding training.
Georgia Oddie – Pre-School Assistant
Georgia has a Level 3 qualification and started with us in May after being a student with us previously. Georgia has received safeguarding training as well as being paediatric first aid trained.
Jodie Bentley – Pre-School Assistant
Jodie has a Level 2 qualification and started working at Jack and Jill Pre-School in October 2024 after previously being a member of our committee. Jodie has brought lots of new ideas to Jack and Jill and always provides fantastic learning opportunities for the children in our care.
Sam Caddick – Pre-School Assistant
Sam started at Jack and Jill Pre-School in March 2024. Sam supports the children at lunchtime ensuring they are supported in making healthy choices and helps to promote children’s independence during meal times.
Robert – Volunteer
Robert has volunteered at Jack and Jill Pre-School one day a week for over 10 years and the children love getting Robert to play new games with them.
